Anime "Tantei Opera Milky Holmes" is a media mix work of the Bushiroad production. The Manga version from May, 2010 until January, 2011 "Comp Ace"     It was published serially in Kadokawa Shoten). As for the book, two volumes are published. From October, 2010 to December, it was broadcasted as TV Anime.

I regard world "Imperial capital Yokohama" of the near future when an aerial phantom thief and detective play an active part as the stage. There is a human being having special ability to be called "Toys" in this world, and "a detective" and "a phantom thief" showing power of Toys compete each other. The story is developed mainly on four girl "Sherlock "Sheryl" Shellingford" "Nero Yuzurizaki" "Hercule "Elly" Barton" "Cordelia Glauca" aiming at what is spied on in the future.
