"Red Haired" Shanks Crew:

The Red-Haired Pirate crew spend most of their time partying and having a good time, as they are seen on most of their appearances. Their crew strength is considerably high, considering their captain is one of the Yonkou

"Red haired" Shanks

Captain

Shanks is Monkey D. Luffy's childhood hero and a former member of Gol D. Roger's Crew. Despite having few appearances, he plays a major role in the series. Shanks has three scars across his left eye, inflicted in a battle with Blackbeard. Shanks is missing his left arm, which he lost while saving Luffy from a Sea King. Shanks and his crew are almost always seen partying and drinking alcoholic beverages whenever they make an appearance as the Captain's favourite pastimes are attending and hosting parties and banquets. Shanks' fighting abilities are formidable; he was considered a rival of Mihawk prior to losing his arm, and he regularly clashed with Whitebeard's crew while serving under Gol D. Roger. His monsterous "spiritual intent" is so great that junior members of the Whitebeard crew pass out by merely being in his presence.

When he was still an apprentice he and Buggy the Clown worked on the same ship, although they were big rivals and disagreed on everything

Yasopp

Snipper

Yasopp is a gifted sharp-shooter said to be capable of shooting the legs off an ant at 100 feet without harming the rest of it. He is the father of Usopp and was one of Luffy's favorite members of the Red-Haired pirates. In his first appearance Yasopp wears a headband with his name on it. In his most recent appearances he has dropped the headband and grown dreadlocks.

In the anime only, Yasopp had a duel with Daddy the Father. Daddy lost against Yasopp and wanted to be killed, but Yasopp let him live after seeing a picture of his daughter.

Rockstar

Miscellaneous Crew

(94,000,000 beli bounty) Rockstar is a newer member of Red-Haired Shanks pirate crew. Shanks sends him to deliver a message to Whitebeard, which the pirate captain promptly ripped up, going along with Shanks' prediction anyway. Rockstar wants to fight Whitebeard to reclaim his honor, but Shanks tells him it was no big deal and to pull back

Benn Beckman

First Mate

Ben Beckman
is the first mate in Red-Haired Shanks' pirate crew, he possesses astonishing wisdom and strength, and acts as an advisor to his captain. When first seen in the manga and anime, he wears his black hair in a ponytail, and is never seen without his rifle nearby or a cigarette in his mouth. Later in the series, his hair has turned grey and is cut short, and he has a large X-shaped scar on his left temple. He appears to be a lot less fun-loving than the other members of the crew but a lot more relaxed, acting as the level headed member. It appears he is quite strong, wiping out a large group of Higuma the Bear's mates rather quickly. According to Eiichiro Oda, Ben Beckman has the highest IQ of all the characters introduced in the East Blue saga

Lucky Roux

Lieutenant

Lucky Roux is the fat member of the pirate crew and is always seen eating a rack of meat. He usually using white-green striped t-shirt. Lucky is also the first person to actually kill someone in One Piece and sets the stage for the series; a pirate's life is a dangerous one.

Shanks's flag is a standard Jolly Roger, similar in appearance to the flag of Calico Jack. It has 3 slashes on the left eye and two swords in place of crossbones. The Red-Hair Pirates ship is called "Red Force", a large dragon-themed vessel

Akatsuki

Akatsuki was created by Madara Uchiha, initially dealing in assassinations and espionage that draw little attention. Some members use their time with Akatsuki to further their own goals; Kakuzu, for example, joined because it makes it easier for him to collect bounties. Soon after the start of the series, however, Akatsuki becomes increasingly more active as its members start to carry out the tasks needed to achieve their ultimate goal: domination over the Naruto world. The leader, Pain, has created a three-step process to work their way towards this goal. First, they plan to obtain a large amount of money to support their organization. Second, they plan to set up a mercenary group loyal only to Akatsuki. To build their reputation, they plan to accept any mission below the usual cost and operate off of the excess funds earned in the first part of their plan. Because there haven't been any wars in some time, the established shinobi villages can't afford to charge such low prices, leading the smaller countries to hire Akatsuki over the more expensive shinobi villages. By using the tailed beasts, Akatsuki can start wars and then immediately quell them, solidifying their reputation and convincing every country to depend on them. Without any business, the other shinobi villages would collapse due to a lack of funds. Finally, after Akatsuki is the only major shinobi force in existence, they could easily conquer the other countries. Despite the severity of this plan, members do not automatically learn of it upon joining; Hidan did not find out about it until asking.

The tailed beasts, nine gigantic demons of immense power, are the focus of much of Akatsuki's effort and screen time within the series. Each Akatsuki member is assigned to capture alive one of the nine beasts or, in most cases, the person that beast has been sealed into. Akatsuki has so far obtained seven of the nine.

Once one of the demons has been captured it is taken to the nearest Akatsuki lair where the remaining members then assemble through astral projection. Pain summons a giant statue of a humanoid monster while the beast or its host is placed before it. The members then take their place on the finger of the statue that corresponds to their respective ring, and the group prepares to seal the beast into the statue. For the sealing, nine dragon-like effigies pour from the statue's mouth to surround the captured host, forcefully remove the tailed beast from them, and seal it into the statue. In the case of an unsealed tailed beast, the same thing happens to the beast itself. The sealing process takes three days to complete. Kisame Hoshigaki notes that the demons must be sealed in a specific order, as he states that sealing the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox before the other eight beasts would destroy the statue. Tobi, the character shown giving Pain orders, hints that the tailed beasts have a purpose beyond global conquest, implying that acquiring all nine would allow his Sharingan to return to full power. Pain, however, has different plans on using the tailed beasts, wishing to use them to create a weapon of mass destruction that will force the world to learn the pointlessness of fighting and try to achieve a sense of world peace.

Sir Charles Spencer Chaplin, Jr.

Do you know the man whose movie character wears a bowler hat, oversized pants and shoes, and has a funny way of walking with a bamboo cane? No? How about this: this character has a mustache that’s so characteristic of him that Adolf Hitler copied it to make people love him, the dictator, more. Charlie Chaplin’s the guy! Don’’t you know his full name is Sir Charles Spencer Chaplin, Jr., He was born at 16 April 1889 Walworth, London, England. And he was died at 25 December 1977 (aged 88) Vevay, Switzerland.

His “Little Tramp” character is forever stamped in our mind. Take the famous scane from The Gold Rush, for example, where the poor guy (the tramp) was so hungry that he boiled his old leather shoe, carved them carefully, smacked his lips in appreciation of the “food,” and ate those clogs! Chaplin’s poverty-stricken childhood was an inspiration for this beloved character. In spite of his rough childhood, Chaplin was the only person ever who successfully managed all the film making process in most of his films: founding his own studio (United Artist), producing, casting, starring, directing, writing, editing, and even composing the music!

In 1916 he becomes the highest–paid actor in the world with income of $10,000/week. The first Oscar awards, held in 1929, stood for his popularity. He was awarded a special award for “versatility and genius in writing, acting, directing, and producing.”..,

Darkwing Duck: The Original Theme

"Drake Mallard, average citizen by day and St. Canard's resident superhero by night"

Darkwing Duck was an American animated TV series which produced by The Walt Disney Company. It featured an eponymous superhero anthropomorphic duck behind on his true identity, Drake Mallard (voiced by Jim Cummings). The costume of this superhero features the gas gun, and flashy introductions are all direct references to pulp heroes such as the Crimson Avenger, The Shadow, and The Green Hornet.

The premise of this series was on fictional city of St. Canard, Darkwing’s rogue gallery, and the relative darkness of Darkwing as it compared to other Disney character such as Batman, Zorro, and The Shadow influences. The character of this series was also appeared occasionally in the series bonkers and earlier Gosalyn appeared in the series Raw Toonage. The series and Ducktales are directly connected by two characters crossing over into the world of Darkwing Duck. The first is Launch pad, Darkwing's sidekick, who is a longtime staple of DuckTales, and GizmoDuck, an armored hero who became a popular part of the DuckTales cast during the series' run.

Dave

When I was about 17 I got in touch with Dave Stevens while he was still living at his parents. I imagine I saw something of his art in some San Diego con related thing and was blown away by his perfect inking ability. He was friendly and even thought he was only an year older than me he was already a budding pro having been published in fanzines and having sent samples to Marvel something, I hadn’t even dared to do yet.

He used to ink my bad pencil swipes for comic book store flyers that ended up in the comic book buyer’s guide. I never looked so good. I remember just being in awe of his initials, so perfectly realized from the get go. We inked some comic book jobs together; he and Bil Stout making me look good on my inking jobs for Russ Manning or Mark Evanier when we all did Tarzan comics for overseas comic markets. Often he would come by my studio at my parent’s house just to pass the time in our lonely profession.

When I moved to LA he soon followed and that’s where these photos were taken, he modeled for a horror story I did for Bruce Jones. Not only was he a brilliant artist, his writing ability helped him to grasp every emotion instantly. I’d show more shots, but as an overwrought horror story the other photos would be in bad taste at this point. As thin as Dave was he was in his prime for these shots as Paul Power, Jim Gomez, Dave and myself used to go to the YMCA in Hollywood and train our balls off. Dave wanted to gain weight and would train until he dropped, but then would eat like he was on a diet. We would always goad him to eat hamburgers and he would order tuna salad.

Dave dated my sister seriously for a time, a hook-up that I hoped would lead to marriage, as I couldn’t think of a better brother in- law, but I think he was determined to be a free sprit after his disaster of a first marriage. I never got whole lots of details about it, as Dave was very private about romance and deep personal feelings. He was open with his frustrations with himself and his artistic ambitions and we spent many an hour bitching out everything in the world. We went to concerts and worked at the same studios, He being the one who made great friends I being the one to fuck up and alienate everyone. I’m sure I embarrassed him, but he never lectured me, I lectured him and harangued guys he loved who I thought gave me a raw deal and he didn’t hold it against me.

Dave was slow, but steady with his art, always striving hard to do his very best. On the contrary, he always said he hated working, which used to piss me off, as his ability was so high I couldn’t imagine being down on myself if I had that kind of skill. His big regret is he just didn’t have enough art education as we lived through the time of anti- drawing when conceptual art ruled, there were good artists out there, but It didn’t seem like it to us. I think we both shared that trait that there was so much more to strive for, but you work, you live life and then whoops you’re out of time to achieve that greatness you can see in others, but inexplicably not in yourself.
I used to love dropping by Bil Stout and Dave’s studio on La Brea… that was a place that breathed art.
At the peak of his success Michael Jackson was stalking Dave to draw a comic book about him. One night when the studio phone rang Dave asked me to answer it and if it was Michael to say he wasn’t there. This high voice asked for Dave and I went into my best Cheech and Chong. Dave? Dave’s not here? “Can you tell him Michael called?” Michael who? ” He knows me.” Dave had to run into the other room once he saw where I was going. When I moved to New York to study art seriously our friendship became strained as distance and the very busy phase of his career blowing up with the Rocketeer movie. I stupidly took that stuff personally and after not hearing from him in a situation I thought was important. I decided to get mad at him for 20 years.

I heard rumors about a “blood thing” over a year ago but chose to not believe it. After some therapy for anger management, I decided to start calling some old friends I had beefs with and at least try and make amends. About that time I heard how badly off he really was and decided to get hold of him. I didn’t have his phone so I wrote him a postcard and he was gracious enough to call me. Immediately the years melted away and we had some great long conversations. When he was up to it we had a lunch or talked on the phone, but he would be down often and I wouldn’t hear from him for weeks. Last time I saw him he came to an art show of mine. He looked good considering and was in typical form at dinner. I called to thank him, but didn’t hear back. I’ve been really busy so I didn’t try as hard as I should have to stay in touch, my poor rational is he mostly let me see the good days so I let my guard down. I didn’t think it would happen so fast. I hadn’t processed how long he had been struggling with this thing and those criminals at Kaiser.

I avoided the career info already covered on other news sites, just let out a few random thoughts. If you love someone and have had a fight, please, please call him or her. I’m really happy we made peace, but so regretful of all those missed years.
