I post this video not to disparage Disney. Truly, anyone who's ever tried to animate realistic movements of a basic skeleton knows how hard it it is to get it right. So I don't blame Disney for developing one that's really excellent and then using it repeatedly. I also don't find it surprising that the skeletons reused are mostly for dancing. Early animated dancing was either poor, or it was rotoscoped from a live dancer. Hell, when animators didn't use rotoscoping, it was a big deal. Tex Avery's Red Hot Riding Hood's first dance sequence was so well done, everyone assumed that it was a real person being traced, even though it was all free-hand.

Disney Stealing From Itself

What?

I'm watching some cgi film called, inventively, Race. It's in the same category of "films no one cares about" that Kaena, Battle for Terra, and Delgo. I have no idea how this got money to be made. The dialog is bad, the acting is sub-standard, and the animation is just appalling. It's worse than The Clone Wars, and better than Re-Boot only in a technical sense.
The character designs border on insulting. The faces look like most of them have some sort of developmental issue, the women all have gigantic boobs and waists measured in millimeters. Plot? Not really. The story is like a crappy video game (This impression is only amplified by the hooters), and the staging is like the pod racing scene from Star Wars Episode 1 crossed with Wipeout.
This is a truly awful film.

Patrick Star Cartoon Movie on SpongeBob Animation

Patrick Star is a cartoon character SpongeBob SquarePants movie. He is a starfish that live in the stone. She lives in Bikini Bottom, SpongeBob neighbor, good friend, and Squidward, who does not like it. He is the dumbest creature in Bikini Bottom as they often do things that are stupid and ridiculous. Along with SpongeBob, Squidward bother him every day.
Patrick is somewhat jealous of SpongeBob's various awards and once tried to imitate everything he did hoping to get awards for it. Finally, he got an award for doing nothing longer than anyone else, which he was pleased with. Later, we find out Patrick won the Dirty Bubble Challenge many years ago and then he lost the trophy they sent him in " Have You Seen This Snail? ", which also reveals one of his talents, being good at paddleball.
Patrick Star, like his pal SpongeBob is a big fan of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy . He also likes a lot of food (especially ice cream and cheese , which probably contributes to him being overweight), and riding on fishing hooks. When writing a movie script, he suggested the characters should drink "Cheese Coffee", and he requested that his room at the Krusty Towers be filled with cheese. In an older episode entitled " Hooky ", he risked his life for cheese. Arguably, one of the most difficult experiences of Patrick's life was when he had to open a jar in order to copy SpongeBob. He overcame his immense stupidity and was able to pull it off with flying colors thanks to SpongeBob's instructions and Patrick's perseverance. Unfortunately, after his success at jar-opening, he "spiked" the glass jar through the floor in jubilation.

SpongeBob SquarePants Animation Series Wallpapers

SpongeBob SquarePants (often referred to simply as SpongeBob) is an American animated television series, created by marine biologist and animator Stephen Hillenburg. Much of the series centers on the exploits and adventures of the title character and his various friends in the underwater city "Bikini Bottom". The series' popularity has prompted the release of a media franchise, contributing to its position as Nickelodeon's highest rated show, the most distributed property of MTV Networks, and among Nicktoons' most-watched shows.
SpongeBob SquarePants was the first "low budget" Nickelodeon cartoon, according to the network, to become extremely popular. Low-budget cartoons had not garnered as much esteem as higher-rated, higher-budgeted shows, although when SpongeBob SquarePants aired in 1999, it had gained a significant enough number of viewers in the ratings to be considered popular, eventually becoming more popular than Rugrats had ever been. SpongeBob follows other Nickelodeon shows that have attracted "older" followers: Other shows have followed in this trend as well: The Fairly OddParents won a similar fan base when they both premiered in 2001, and the latter is now second only to SpongeBob in popularity, while the former was cancelled despite gaining a cult following and has recently returned in reruns. Though the show debuted in 1999, SpongeBob did not become hugely popular until around 2000, and it has remained popular since then.
Heavy metal group Metallica even released a T-shirt featuring cartoon versions of themselves playing live with the characters SpongeBob and Patrick. British rock singer David Bowie was a special guest on the SpongeBob SquarePants episode Atlantis SquarePantis, which aired on November 12, 2007. The episode drew total 8.8 million viewers, the biggest audience in the show's eight-year history.
The show became so popular with adolescents and adults that the series was broadcast on MTV and featured on Spike TV. A quote by Patrick, "It's gonna rock!" from the episode Mid-Life Crustacean, has been used as a promotional tag-line for rock stations. Ren and Stimpy, among others, had followed a similar path. The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie features a cameo appearance by actor David Hasselhoff, in a parody of his role from the Baywatch TV series. In April 2009, as a tie-in to the special "SpongeBob vs. The Big One", Burger King distributed two different commercials geared toward children and adult audiences. In ads broadcast on major networks, the commercial shows rapper Sir Mix-a-Lot recording a music video for his new song, “SpongeBob Got Back”.

Kungfu Panda Animation Series Disney

Kung Fu Panda is a 2008 American computer-animated film produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by Paramount Pictures. It was directed by John Wayne Stevenson and Mark Osborne and produced by Melissa Cobb, and stars the voice of Jack Black along with Dustin Hoffman, Angelina Jolie, Ian McShane, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu, David Cross, Randall Duk Kim, James Hong and Jackie Chan. Set in ancient China, the plot revolves around a bumbling panda named Po who aspires to be a kung fu master. When an evil kung fu warrior is foretold to escape from prison, Po is unwittingly named the chosen one destined to bring peace to the land, much to the chagrin of the resident kung fu warriors.
The Panda is but a humble waiter in his father's noodle restaurant. By night he dreams of greatness as a kung fu fighter so fierce, he takes down the enemy with "overexposure to pure awesomeness." A quirk of fate lands Po the unlikely title of Dragon Warrior, and the even unlikelier job of actually learning kung fu and using his gelatinous-ness to defeat the evil Tai Lung.
Although the concept of a "kung fu panda" has been around since at least 1993, work on the film did not begin until 2004. The idea for the film was conceived by Michael Lachance, a DreamWorks Animation executive. The film was originally intended to be a parody, but director Stevenson decided instead to shoot an action comedy furry Wuxia film that incorporates the hero's journey narrative archetype for the lead character. The computer animation in the film was more complex than anything DreamWorks had done before. As with most DreamWorks animated films, Hans Zimmer (collaborating with John Powell this time) scored Kung Fu Panda. He visited China to absorb the culture and get to know the China National Symphony Orchestra as part of his preparation. A sequel, Kung Fu Panda 2, is in production and set for release on May 27, 2011.

The Importance of Animation
I'm watching Shrek on Cartoon Network, and aside from the editing of Shrek calling Donkey a jack-ass pissing me off, I was surprised by how poorly the animating has aged. I remember a documentary about the production, where an animator talked about how everything they were using was cutting edge. He chuckled as admitting that it would all be totally out-of-date before the movie even released.
Comparing this to the documentary on Pixar where in the early days of the company, they were desperate to find a real animator to bring life to all of their math. That's how they hooked up with John Lasseter. The amazing way that the animation of Toy Story 2 and A Bug's Life has aged, even as ever-greater advances in technology have rendered (pun not intended) the old technology nearly antediluvian, is hugely impressive. It shows how the fundamentals of animation hold up and remain contemporary regardless of when they're done.
For a direct comparison, look at the animation of Monsters Inc. and Shrek. They both came out in 2001 and likely had similar development cycles. I've posted a clip of Monsters Inc., which won't likely be up for much longer, and the trailer for Shrek. Just look at how much more flexible the Pixar characters are. Look at how much more fluid the movements are. The differences are stark.
By Shrek 2, the Dreakworks guys had either hired better animators or gotten the hang of squeezing character out of their more rigid model designs.

Free ice cream from Murdoch won't erase facts...

...Fox TV hasn't fielded a truly interesting TV show in their Animation Domination bloc for years.
I mean, let's get real here. The Simpsons is just plain played out, and has been for about a decade and a half. Family Guy, American Dad and The Cleveland Show? Three aspects of another played-out series by Seth McFarlane, which as anyone who's watched South Park has seen, is basically written at random. King Of The Hill is over, and Mike Judge is busy resuscitating Beavis and Butt-Head. (Please let it be a retro show, please, please, I want to see Daria Morgendorffer abuse B&B for her twisted psychological experiments again, and I'd like to see Quinn have to deal with B&B!)
The Fox PR girls who were there dropped hints of something new that might show up as a mid-season replacement, but they told me News Corp ninjas would drop in to my home and kill me in my sleep in the dead of night if I mentioned anything more so I'll leave it at that.
So even with that known, I accepted their "Death By Stewie" sundae creation (basically a hot fudge sundae with sprinkles) and it tasted that much better knowing it was free, I was being treated to it on Murdoch's dime, and that I was going to find the nearest hot spot and give the entire bloc a deserved razzing. I suppose that posting my phone pics of their truck gives them free publicity. But hey, that's entertainment.

Ganesha Cartoon Movie Design Animation

The story of Lord Ganesh, the elephant-faced god of success and destroyer of obstacles is full of interest and appeal to the young. The anecdotes connected with this god of education, knowledge, wisdom and wealth are vividly animated in this video. Find out how Vinayaka, as he is called, came to have an elephant-head. You will learn that it is an outcome of his devotion to mother Parvati. Ganesh learns in another episode that he should harm no living creature. Parvati teaches him this moral when he plays with an ant. A great lesson for kids. Another interesting story is about Kroncha, who becomes the vehicle of Ganesh in the form of a sage is finally brought to his sense by Ganesh.
Another interesting story is about the formation of the river Cauvery with the help of Lord Ganesh. Learn how Kashi became the holy of Lord Ganesh. Learn how Kashi became the holy city after the killing of Durasana. Find out how Ganesh tests and blesses a mother and her daughter who are his devotees. The beautifully animated anecdotes of Lord Ganesh will captivate kids and make them learn many excellent values.
India and Hinduism had an impact on many countries of East and South Asia as a result of commercial and cultural contacts. Ganesha is one of many Hindu deities who reached foreign lands as a result. The worship of Ganesha by Hindus outside of India shows regional variation. The acceptance of Hindu ideas in ancient times still continue today in world religions.
Ganesha was a deity particularly worshipped by traders and merchants, who went out of India for commercial ventures. The period from approximately the tenth century onwards was marked by the development of new networks of exchange, the formation of trade guilds, and a resurgence of money circulation, and it was during this time that Ganesha became the principal deity associated with traders. The earliest inscription where Ganesha is invoked before any other deity is by the merchant community.

Ninja Assassins Creed Animation Image

Assassin's Creed is a historical fantasy third person action-adventure/science fiction video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It was released worldwide in November 2007 on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and April 2008 for PCs. The game centers on the use of a machine named the "Animus", which allows the viewing of the protagonist's genetic memories of his ancestors.
Through this plot device, details emerge of a struggle between two factions, the Knights Templar and the Assassins (Hashshashin), over an artifact known as a "Piece of Eden" and the game primarily takes place during the Third Crusade in the Holy Land in 1191. The game received generally positive reviews, and won several awards at E3 in 2006. A sequel, Assassin's Creed II, was released in November 2009. n September 2012, bartender Desmond Miles is kidnapped by Abstergo, a pharmaceutical company. He is to be used as a 17th test subject in the Animus, a device that can read the memories of Desmond's ancestors through the "genetic memory" left behind in their descendants' DNA. Desmond can then simulate the experiences of his ancestors in a virtual reality environment. Abstergo intends to put Desmond in the device to simulate the memories of one particular ancestor, Altaïr ibn La-Ahad, a member of a clan of Assassins.
The character of Al Mualim and his clan are based on an Islamic sect known as the Order of the Hashshashin from which the term assassin originates. The Assassins follow a strict code of honor called the "Assassin's Creed", which consists of three basic rules. Do not compromise the Brotherhood. They also follow the famous rule of Hashshashin founder Hassan-i Sabbah: "Nothing is true; everything is permitted".
