Assassin's Creed is a historical fantasy third person action-adventure/science fiction video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It was released worldwide in November 2007 on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and April 2008 for PCs. The game centers on the use of a machine named the "Animus", which allows the viewing of the protagonist's genetic memories of his ancestors.

Through this plot device, details emerge of a struggle between two factions, the Knights Templar and the Assassins (Hashshashin), over an artifact known as a "Piece of Eden" and the game primarily takes place during the Third Crusade in the Holy Land in 1191. The game received generally positive reviews, and won several awards at E3 in 2006. A sequel, Assassin's Creed II, was released in November 2009. n September 2012, bartender Desmond Miles is kidnapped by Abstergo, a pharmaceutical company. He is to be used as a 17th test subject in the Animus, a device that can read the memories of Desmond's ancestors through the "genetic memory" left behind in their descendants' DNA. Desmond can then simulate the experiences of his ancestors in a virtual reality environment. Abstergo intends to put Desmond in the device to simulate the memories of one particular ancestor, Altaïr ibn La-Ahad, a member of a clan of Assassins.

The character of Al Mualim and his clan are based on an Islamic sect known as the Order of the Hashshashin from which the term assassin originates. The Assassins follow a strict code of honor called the "Assassin's Creed", which consists of three basic rules. Do not compromise the Brotherhood. They also follow the famous rule of Hashshashin founder Hassan-i Sabbah: "Nothing is true; everything is permitted".

Update 2 - G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra

As you remember this first mention in a year ago on this blog called “G.I. Joe countdown for Zartan” which regards on the release of movie and now this is the finale update of this a much awaited movie of 2009.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra is an upcoming live action film adaptation from the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero toy franchise, which will be released on August 7, 2009. The film is directed by Stephen Sommers who also a director for the “The Mummy: Return”, produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and written by Stuart Beattie based on a 1998 screenplay by John Paul Kay. G.I. Joe features an ensemble cast based on the various characters of the franchise. Filming took place in Downey, California and Prague's Barrandov Studios.

The movie was set ten years in the futre and an origin story that will focus in the rise of the Cobra Organization. Stephen Sommers said, "For people who know nothing about it, it'll make sense. And to people who love this stuff, it'll show where they all came from." The film focuses on Duke (Channing Tatum) and Ripcord's (Marlon Wayans) induction into the G.I. Joe Team, providing the audience's point-of-view. Locations include the Arctic, Paris, Moscow, Washington, D.C., Australia and the Sahara. The G.I. Joe Team is based in the Pit, while it was indicated Cobra Island will appear.

Killer Frost

Killer Frost or also known as Crystal Frost is a fictional DC comic’s character who first appeared in Firestorm #3 during June 1978. The origin of this character was start when she was studying to be a scientist in Hudson University and get falling in-love to his teacher named, Martin Stein but didn’t get her feelings back by the man she loved. While in the project in the Artic, Frost she accidentally locked herself in the thermafrost chamber but somehow get survived. After the accident she was transformed and got the ability to absorb heat from external sources and transmute it into waves of cold (similarity to the power of Iceman of Marvel Comics). But sad to said that Killer Frost was died after she absorbed too much energy from the Firestorm.

Tribute to Loki

Loki (Loki Lauyefson) or Loki Odinson is a fictional Marvel super villain character, he is the son of giants who walks across the sky to god’s friend fathered beast and men. His name is also based from Norse mythology which his first appearance was in Venus #6 during August 1949 and created by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber, and Jack Kirby who draw for the character. He is also a well known friend of one of the superhero character Thor which became his ultimate archenemy as well the other mutant superhero in war called, Civil War.

He is a member of the race of Frost Giants of Jotunheim, although not a giant in stature, he possesses physical attributes equal to those of the race of superhuman known as Asgardian, such as enhanced strength; stamina (his Frost Giant metabolism grants him superhuman levels of physical stamina in practically all activities); durability (at times he imbues himself with magical abilities that enable him to withstand injuries that would prove fatal to another Asgardian, such as being beheaded) and immunity to all known diseases.

Eclipso is one of the super villain fictional individual characteristics in DC Comics which owned of being the incarnation of the wrath of God which is an angel of reprisal which turned to bad and has been restoring by the Spectre. His first look was on #61 of “House of Secrets” in August 1963 which the article was in writing by Bob Haney and Drawn by Lee Elias. The cosmos and the creator made Eclipso, a god who would search reprisal and proceed as an agency of balance in the universe. Eclipso was flawed because he was not tethered to a human owner, owned persons at will, and needed human empathy. A hard-hitting character kind who summoned Eclipso was instantly changed into an Eclipso type of him/herself, keeping their own adeptness but furthermore profiting those of Eclipso. A summoner who has a passive character rather than evoked a distinct Eclipso, who takes on the characteristics of the individual's power fantasy. After Eclipso manifested himself in a individual, communicate with the very dark precious gem is no longer necessary. Son Goku is the primary fictional superhero character in the Dragon Ball Universe which is also known to his TV series as Dragon Ball Z and created by Akira Toriyama. The character was introduced as an odd, monkey tailed boy who practices martial arts and possesses an extraordinary human powers as Super Saiyan. This is usually recognized by his uniquely styled hair and only changes it when he turns into Super Saiyan which his hair stands upright and turns blond. Following on the series, Son Goku has been married to Bulma and had two children named Son Gohan and Son Goten. The two children have also extraordinary powers which are inherit to their father as Super Saiyan.

The movie will be an American Adaptation that been distributed by 20^th century Fox and produced by Stephen Chow and James Wong at the same time as director of this said movie. Robocop Movie Trailer in 1987

Robocop is originally an action film that been premiered on movie theater in July 17, 1987 underwritten by Edward Neumeier and Michael Miner. It was been action superhero which is “part man, part machine” which is covered by high steel suit cop. The film was set on Detroit, Michigan that focused on the future law enforcement who is brutally murdered and subsequently re-created as super-human cyborg haunted by submerged memories.

Update: In the interview done on MTV News the producers said “Robocop Reboot Won’t Pick up Where Last Flick Left Off”, which according to Producer Brad Fischer and co-producer Mike Medavoy this action superhero has aiming to be release in 2010 under the direction of Darren Aronofsky. Anyway, as to whether Peter Weller (the star of "Robocop") would make an appearance, Medavoy would only say that it was "the director's choice."

X-Men Origins: Wolverine

X-men origin: Wolverine is another much awaited movie of Hugh Jackman and said it will be shown in our favorite movie theater on May 1, 2009. Based on this teaser video that I’ve watched it has also new marvel characters we can watch and the most I like is this superhero characters, “Gambit and Weapon 11” (although I’m not much sure if Gambit is one of character that I saw on the trailer). One more thing, the movie was more on the origin of Logan as a soldier into how he became Wolverine and a part of it is between the villains, Sabrettooth and other marvel characters. This movie will definitely sure big block buster for the year of 2009 by Hugh Jackman and other talented actors including Liev Schreiber, Danny Huston, and Ryan Reynolds.

G.I. Joe Countdown for Zartan

Zartan which an anagram of Tarzan, is one of the main villain characters in the animated series called, G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero Comic by Hasbro. This character is a mercenary who often worked directly for Cobra Commander which on his stated file card he suffered from Paranoid Schizophrenia and Multiple Personality Disorder.

The character has the ability to alter his skin color at will to blend in with his environment. He is also a master of make-up and disguise, a ventriloquist, a linguist which can understand and dialects over 20 languages, an acrobatic-contortionist and a practitioner of several mystic martial arts. Very little is known of his background and origins, but most security agencies agree that he must have had European military academy training which been probably at St. Cyr.
