"Kaiji" is anime that drew the Nobuyuki Fukumoto original gambling serialized to 'Weekly young magazine'.
13 book volumes issue from 1996 to 1999 by "Tobaku Mokusiroku Kaiji", and, similarly, 13 book volumes issue it from 2000 to 2004 by "Tobaku Hakairoku Kaiji". 13 book volumes are issued from 2004 to 2008 by "Tobaku datenroku Kaiji". It is broadcast from October, 2007 to April, 2008 as television anime.
It is told that the story is pressed the debt that became security for a friend against hero's Kaiji, and swells up to 3.85 million yen by an unreasonable interest.
