"Hamtaro" is comics / a picture book work by Rituko Kawai. And, in the Animated Feature Film which assumed it the original, serialization is started in 1997 by a monthly, and TV ANIME is broadcasted in 2000.
By the neighboring people and the story of the hamster, Hamtaro is a name of plural hamsters not one of them, and an each owner is different from Hamtaro of the hamster, too
