This series began as a self-published dojin, but slowly made it as a still picture drama, and eventually the Japanese division of the French company Ankama Games decided to produce it as an anime.
I'm getting a lot of hype for this project, inspired in World War II, but with mechas and drama between girls with supernatural powers. Talk about an explosive combination!

New screenshots of Iron Vendetta + a new trailer!
This is the latest update concerning the new Koutetsu no Vendetta anime series, and it looks impressive from episode 0 and beyond!
The official site of the series, http://www.vandetta.jp has just released new screenshots and a new trailer as well:
Iron Vendetta began as a self published dojin about military robots, which success led to be picked it up as an anime, and this is quite an innovating change in the possibilities for any talented artist to get his/her work recognized beyond editorial publication, which is indeed a huge step ahead for independent manga.
