Emma

Anime "Emma" is Historical Romance Anime of the Kaoru Mori original. The Manga printing block was published serially in "Comic Beam" (Enterbrain) from January, 2002 to March, 2006. A sequel was published serially in "Monthly Comic Beam" (Enterbrain) from September, 2006 to March, 2008. As for the book, 10 volumes and three volumes are published each. It was broadcasted as twice of June, TV Anime from June and April, 2007 from April, 2006.

The stage is the U.K. of the Victoria morning service age in 1890's. A carriage still comes and goes in the town, and it is a story at haves and the time when the class society that had a close border between the have-not is deep-rooted.

I received education as the servant under an old woman / a thing of Kelly which I retired myself, and sent living in seclusion in London, and Emma of the chief character lived for Governess (a tutor) of the good family as a maid of oar works (odd jobs maid) which managed the housework whole alone. One day heir son / William of the person of trading merchant / Jones which is influential in a former student of Kelly visits it to there. William has a strong interest in Emma which I received modestly well.

Of the person whom is Emma and William which pass by single night in an unexpected encounter and the Crystal Palace which came together of several degrees, and came to be attracted each other, but two love blesses besides Hakim which is the Indian imperial family with a friend of Kelly and William there was not it. Kelly dies, and Emma which realized that it is the love that it keenly realizes the difference of two social position in a person of Jones which came, and it does not have realized leaves London with not telling a destination to William.
