Astro Boy Movie 2009

Astro Boy has original Japanese name, Tetsuwan Atom which based on the long-running Japanese series of the same name by Osamu Tezuka. It was produced by Imagi Animation Studios, the animation production company of TMNT. The studio announced the project in September 2006. It was directed by David Bowers and produced by Maryann Garger with Pilar Flynn as associate producer.

The movie is a 2009 computer-animated 3-D film and set in futuristic Metro City, Astro Boy is about a young robot with incredible powers created by a brilliant scientist in the image of the son he has lost. Unable to fulfill the grieving man's expectations, our hero embarks on a journey in search of acceptance, experiencing betrayal and a netherworld of robot gladiators, before he returns to save Metro City and reconcile with the father who had rejected him.

My Review:
Last week I watched this movie at the mall along with my nice Gabriel. Remembering my childhood days, I used to watched and followed Astro Boy only in a TV series program when I was a kid (if am not mistaken am just only 7 or 8 year old) because of his amazing power and being a cool kid robot. That’s why am also kinda excited (tsk tsk…) to watch again Astro Boy but for this time in a 3-D animated film, just to reminisce my childhood and of course have bonding with nice. For me, this movie are really entertaining with good values message that a kid must have learn and I think it also give an idea of what a robot can may do for human (good or bad). Happy watching…
