Son Goku is the primary fictional superhero character in the Dragon Ball Universe which is also known to his TV series as Dragon Ball Z and created by Akira Toriyama. The character was introduced as an odd, monkey tailed boy who practices martial arts and possesses an extraordinary human powers as Super Saiyan. This is usually recognized by his uniquely styled hair and only changes it when he turns into Super Saiyan which his hair stands upright and turns blond. Following on the series, Son Goku has been married to Bulma and had two children named Son Gohan and Son Goten. The two children have also extraordinary powers which are inherit to their father as Super Saiyan.

Update: Dragon Ball Z will have an upcoming movie which to be release in our favorite movie theater on April 3, 2009. The movie will be an American Adaptation that been distributed by 20^th century Fox and produced by Stephen Chow and James Wong at the same time as director of this said movie. CRACKED Magazine Double Page Spread

This is a double-page spread I did a few years ago before the last election when Cracked magazine was still a magazine and still funny. I ended up doing a handful of assignments for them and was in the very last published issue. I was always a fan of Cracked growing up and I miss seeing John Severin's work. It's too bad humor magazines don't really exist anymore. National Lampoon, SPY, Cracked, Crazy, Sick, Help, Plop!, Nuts, and others just can't seem to compete for today's entertainment dollar. It seems many of them have either closed up shop or like Nat Lamp, Cracked (which completely changed it's format) and now The Onion have gone to the internet. MAD seems to be the sole survivor as a humor magazine.

CAPTAIN TUBASA

The captain TUBASA is an animated cartoon of the soccer. I aim at a footballer, the World Cup which all the boys long for. The "ball likes soccer purely so that it is expressed by words of friend " and has a character it to be liked from a teammate and a partner player.

During the last year I have been painting backgrounds for the new Nickelodeon TV Cartoon: The Mighty B." It's about the overzealous adventures of Bessie Higgenbottom (Amy Poehler V.O.) the most dedicated member of the Honeybees a Girl Scout like troop. If not adventuring with her Dog Happy she is often unintentionally infighting with her Nemesis Portia her rich fellow B member to see who can earn the most troop badges. The Show runner/ Co creator/ Director is the Multi- talented Erik Wiese and the gifted Art Director Seonna Hong have been a joy to work with. Here are some small typical background keys for the show. These are still done mostly by hand with sometimes a few adjustments with Photoshop. Ours is the best Ren and Stimpy influnced show to come down the pike in my opinion and are still proudly working in 2d!



The kids behind the show at our "Green light" for the second season luncheon last week. Missing is Larry( layout man extraordinaire) Murphy who took the shot.

NAUSIKA

If the NAUSIKA of the Miyazaki animated cartoon is natural, what is it? I am made to think about を. A beautiful picture and the severe fate of a now deer loving. It is a popular work competing for 1,2 in Miyazaki animated cartoon.

Initial D

Robocop Movie Trailer in 1987

"Serve the public trust. Protect the innocent. Uphold the law"

Robocop is originally an action film that been premiered on movie theater in July 17, 1987 underwritten by Edward Neumeier and Michael Miner. It was been action superhero which is “part man, part machine” which is covered by high steel suit cop. The film was set on Detroit, Michigan that focused on the future law enforcement who is brutally murdered and subsequently re-created as super-human cyborg haunted by submerged memories.

Update: In the interview done on MTV News the producers said “Robocop Reboot Won’t Pick up Where Last Flick Left Off”, which according to Producer Brad Fischer and co-producer Mike Medavoy this action superhero has aiming to be release in 2010 under the direction of Darren Aronofsky. Anyway, as to whether Peter Weller (the star of "Robocop") would make an appearance, Medavoy would only say that it was "the director's choice."

Astro Boy

It is the remake of the former work, but the contents of one one episode are arranged for the present age, too. In addition, it seems to be Osamu Tezuka to insert clear opposition of the good and evil called "the atlas vs. the atom" 9 as the series. In other words it is a device to understand that both the good and the evil hold each weakness and a trouble in each adversely by continuing nine themes called the opposition of the good and evil.

TOTORO

Spirited Away

Spirited Away is a story to be said Chihiro loses another world with a family, and to be crowded with Miyazaki animated cartoon. How will about the fate of Chihiro and the parents working at a public bath?

KITARO

Kitaro is an animated cartoon from childhood, but I am for a photograph taken on a spot recently and become the movie. A Japanese old ghost appears in various ways, and it is felt the times.

STEAMBOY

GATCHAMAN

Scientific ninja corps GATCHAMAN is the animated cartoon which I watched in a childhood. I think that I miss an adult of 40 generations. I seem to become quite popular if remade by a modern version.

BAKABON

Fujio Akatsuka of the author of genius Bakabon died. It is said the biological parent of the Japanese gag animated cartoon. I pray its soul may rest in peace.
