The Very Very Very First Appearance of Batman!!

Recently I have been thinking about how this year, 2009, is the 70th Anniversary of one of the greatest comic book characters ever, Batman! The weird thing is that DC Comics ( Warner Bros ) has not been hyping that fact very much. Oh, they have mentioned it a little but there's NO huge fanfare like I would like to see. So, then later I got to wonder what was THE very very first appearance of Batman? I'm not talking about Detective Comics # 27 where they introduced the character. I started to wonder if they showed him in any other way as sort of an introduction or teaser. Well, here it is! The graphic you see up above is the VERY FIRST TIME anybody, mainly children, got to see the Dark Knight! This image is from the 1939 issue of Action Comics # 12. It hyped the fact that there would be a brand-new superhero added to their lineup & said to look for the May issue of Detective Comics! Now, you really have to wonder...what did kids think when they 1st saw this small image of the Caped Crusader for the very first time? Wow! That must have been really cool!! Looking at the sale figures for that book they must have loved it, ha ha!

Queen's Blade

The work that Anime "Queen's Blade" made it the play type gamebook "lost world" animated cartoon that) American premature start buffalo company had copyright. From November, 2007. It is published serially in "monthly COMPACE" (Kadokawa Publishing) by Iku Nanzaki drawing. From April, 2009 to June, it was broadcasted as a TV animated cartoon.

A long masked girl of hair confronting 1,000 strange assassinators / Merona. The girl swings down a sword in an around the shoulders of Merona. "My name is Reina"…It is noble soldier Reina! "
Reina whom I was disgusted with life as the noble and demanded freedom, and appeared on the trip. Subordinate of the witch of the boggy place that appeared there, "1,000 strange assassinators / Merona" attack Reina without a pardon. For phantasmagoric attack of Merona, Reina was about to lose mind without art to make; "benevolent picaroon / Risty of the wasteland" which appeared in the very front breezily beats up Merona then! Reina whom, by the way, I have a narrow escape, and heave a sigh of relief who is just before. It is only encounter with the various beauty fighters, that the world does not know ahead by sight in a fight with the people to block widely again, and Reina realizes a thing. And the older sister that the way of life is different, discord with General / Claudette of the thundercloud. She grows up through a trip while being hurt and decides participation to the Queens braid….
Queens braid, it are competition meetings to choose the Queen whom I am the strongest, and is the most beautiful with a reputation of God. I do not understand it who sticks to the Emperor's chair which there is the glory if I do not fight.

Batman's ADAM WEST Does Voice Over Acting For 2 TV Commercials

Here are 2 very interesting videos I came across recently. They're TV Commercials for the "Lending Tree" with a special guest voice, the actor Adam West...who we all know & love as Batman / Bruce Wayne from the 1966 TV series. Funny!

BATMAN CARTOON Promotional Items at KFC in The Philippines

On the internet awhile back I came across some amazing Batman Promo items that I wish I would have known existed, back when they did the promotion. It seems that, at Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurants ( in the Philippines ), they had special Chicken Buckets & Plastic Soft Drink Cups decorated with graphics of Batman, Robin, Batgirl, & Catwoman! I found these on the personal website of the graphic designer who designed them. His name is Brian & he's an extremely talented artist. The weird thing was that it combined a few different "themes of Batman", namely, THE BATMAN animated cartoon & "THE GOTHAM GIRLS". But, where's Poison Ivy & Harley Quinn? They were an internal part of Gotham Girls. Plus, Batgirl was NOT a Gotham Girl but a member of the Bat-Family...weird. But regardless, I would like to have these KFC buckets & cups though, they're pretty cool!

Natsu no Arashi!

Anime "Natsu no Arashi!" is SFAnime of the Jinn Kobayasi original. It is published serially in "monthly cancer cancer JOKER (square Enix) from September, 2006". From April, 2009 to June, it was broadcasted as TV Anime. As for the book, five volumes are published.
Hajime Yasaka which came to stay at the house of the grandfather of the country using a summer vacation. He falls in love with employee / Sayoko Arashiyama of the old coffee shop "ark" which entered at first sight to enjoy the cool air by chance. At the moment when Arashi conflicted with Hajime Yasaka by a certain opportunity, a shock such as the thunder runs among two people. I take out Hajime Yasaka surprised at forth when I wet pants when Arashi "went". The scenery which cannot think that it was modern Japan opened before the eyes when I just ran through a mountain behind with two people…….
With some story master whom Arashi named oneself a ghost, and was the mysterious girl who could fly to the past by joining by Yasaka and a hand, man of sunglasses chasing Arashi, Jyun Kamigamo of the junior high student same as Yasaka. 　
The summer when the boy and girl is unforgettable begins on the stage of the coffee shop "ark" of the full loading a nostalgic atmosphere.

GOOGLE SEARCH Celebrates San Diego Comic Con With Special Logo!

Just a quick post: If you go to GOOGLE SEARCH today ( July 24th, 2009 ) then they have a special Google Logo that celebrates both DC Comics & the San Diego Comic Con 2009! The artwork was created by none other than the famous comic book artist Jim Lee!! I like that it features both Batman & Robin, plus it's kinda cool how he drew Plastic Man!! Another weird thing is _ Where's Superman?!! Oh man, I wish I was at SDCC this year, ARRRGGHH!
